Elizabeth Reviews: Saved By The Bride by Fiona Lowe

Saved By The Bride by Fiona Lowe Genre:  Contemporary Romance Series:  Wedding Fever, book #1 I Do!!!! I may be a bit biased as this story takes place in Northern Wisconsin but I truly Loved this book!  This was a really well written story and kept my complete attention from beginning to end. Annika Jacobson aka Anni, an artist, moved to the town of Whitetail Wisconsin after she suffered an emotional break up and a bad gallery showing. While living there she found a purpose and a group of people that made her feel wanted and needed. She has given …

Promo & Review: Jack Absolute by C.C. Humphreys

Jack Absolute by C.C. Humphreys Genre: Historical Thriller Series: #1 Jack Absolute Historical adventures are some of my abso-fav stories to read so when I saw the blurb on this book, I just had to read it.  I love it when a character is put in tight spots and makes me wonder how they’re going to get out of them and I also enjoy a bit of romance and intrigue to make things interesting.  This book had all that and then some.  Its set during the early period of the American Colonial War for Independence and told from the perspective of a …

ARC Review: Lockout by Maya Cross

Lockout by Maya Cross Genre: Contemporary Romance/Erotica/BDSM Series: The Alpha Group, Book 2 I was waiting for this book since I read the first book of the series, Locked. I read that book and loved it (see my review for Locked here). It concluded it with a cliffhanger ending and I wanted to know what happened. Well, the love affair continues on in Lockout, as does the suspense about Sebastian’s job. I just want to know what is up with his company. The suspense is killing me. Sophia finally pushes through some of Sebastian’s walls in this book. He opens …

ARC Review: Rocky Mountain Rebel by Vivian Arend

Rocky Mountain Rebel by Vivian Arend Genre: Contemporary Western Romance Series: Six Pack Ranch, Book 5 Vivian Arend is one of my favorite authors. And most of her heroes are the top two of my favorite hero types: werewolves and cowboys. Yummy! I’ve read almost everything she’s written and never been disappointed. She is a truly amazing author. I love the Six Pack Ranch series so I was very excited to be able to read this early to review. Vicki Hansol’s life is full of turmoil and torment. Everyone judges her by her mother and older sister’s actions. They think …

ARC Review: Time Changes Everything by Melinda Dozier

Time Changes Everything by Melinda Dozier Genre: Contemporary Romance First love can be so brutal, especially when it’s not reciprocated. Amanda and Jake grew up together and when they got older and he kissed her, then left, it broke her teenage heart. Now seven years later, it seems like Jake will be getting some of his own medicine. Amanda’s not ready to commit. She has entirely too much going on. Jake finally finds the woman who is the ONE, only to find out he’s known her all his life. It’s his little squirt. When he’s ready to try a relationship, …

ARC Review & Giveaway: Kill Shot by Liliana Hart

Kill Shot by Liliana Hart Genre: Thriller Romance Series: #1 The Collective Intensity is shot through this whole book so that I never had time to draw a deep or relieved breath.  Whether it was the physical danger element or the painful and deeply emotional relationship, this one just didn’t let up.  I have never read this author before and now I want to smack myself with a ‘why ever not’ because this was an incredible bit of writing that lived up to and then some what is revealed in the blurb.  And yes, I used a boat-load of descriptive adjectives already …

Review: Bare It All by Lori Foster

Bare It All by Lori Foster Genre: Romantic Suspense Series: Love Undercover, book #2 I went into Bare it All thrilled to be getting Reese’s story and finding out why Alice is so quiet, closed off and vigilant. I got a lot more than I expected, but I also didn’t buy some of the personality traits of either the hero or the heroine. In book one of this series, I spent a lot of time not knowing if I trusted Detective Reese Bareden. I found out I could by the end of that book. This one picks up the day after …
