ARC Review: Time Changes Everything by Melinda Dozier

Time Changes Everything by Melinda Dozier Genre: Contemporary Romance First love can be so brutal, especially when it’s not reciprocated. Amanda and Jake grew up together and when they got older and he kissed her, then left, it broke her teenage heart. Now seven years later, it seems like Jake will be getting some of his own medicine. Amanda’s not ready to commit. She has entirely too much going on. Jake finally finds the woman who is the ONE, only to find out he’s known her all his life. It’s his little squirt. When he’s ready to try a relationship, …

Master Prince by Gray Dixon Genre: Contemporary BDSM Erotica Series: Masters of Tabu, Book 2 Release Date May 2013 Back in March I read Master Knight and loved it (read review here)! I couldn’t wait for Master Prince, book two to come out. When Gray contacted me and asked if I would like to read Master Prince, I jumped at the chance. I am so glad I did. Guilianna Hathaway watched her father beat her mother and once her mother was gone, he went after her. She suffered through the beatings to save her younger sister. When she grew up …

ARC Review: The Best Man by Ana Blaze

The Best Man by Ana Blaze is available April 29! Beth Chase is too busy planning perfect weddings to worry about the lack of action in her own love life. But if she was looking for a man, she wouldn’t be looking at Colin Pratt. Her boss swears that Best Man Colin is a quiet scholar and science fiction writer who couldn’t possibly cause a fuss at his own brother’s wedding. He’s clearly never met the man in question. Snarky, sexy and more than a little inebriated, Colin is the final obstacle between Beth and the last perfect wedding she …

Review: Fading Echoes by Jaime McDougall

Fading Echoes by Jaime McDougall Genre: Urban Fantasy Series: Echo Falls, Book 2 I read Echo Falls, the first book of the Echo Falls series and really liked it. I was very excited to read Faded Echoes, book 2. Well it finally came out and I jumped at the chance to read it. Faded Echoes started extremely slow. I know the author has to character build and being that the main characters are the baby who was kidnapped in the first book and a new character all together, sure she would need to do a lot, but I was around …

Review: Short Rides by Lorelei James

Short Rides by Lorelei James Genre: Contemporary Western Romance Series: Rough Riders Lorelei James is my all-time favorite Cowboy Romance Author. Her Rough Riders series drew me into the Western Romance Genre and would not spit me out. I love every single book I read by her. When offered the chance to read this book for an honest review, I was like Hell Yeah! King of Hearts Cam McKay is the deputy sheriff and a war soldier. He lost his leg and part of his hand in combat. He deals with PTSD every day. One day on his job, there …

Rhonda & Elizabeth Review Hard Way by Katie Porter

Well, when I started this book I really didn’t think I could finish it. It’s a very rough book, figuratively and literally. I stopped at Chapter 5 and put the book down. I loved the earlier books in this series, but I really didn’t think I could finish this one. Well, today I said screw it, sit down and read. Get through this book, if you don’t like it, you don’t like it. I am so glad I did.

In Hard Way Dash (Liam) and his wife Sunny are going through problems. Sunny came home from work (she works across the country) and said she wanted a divorce. Well, it’s how they dealt with that that was so hard for me. Rape games do not do it for me. I don’t like them and they got extremely rough with them. Once I got past all that, and just listened to what the characters were saying, through actions and words, I got through. I really felt for both the hero and heroine.
